What personal data we collect and why
Like most website operators, MC Group collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. MC Group’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand MC Group’s visitors use its website.
MC Group also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. IP addresses are anonymised when used for functions such as analysis.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to MC Group choose to interact with MC Group in ways that require MC Group to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that MC Group gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who have an enquiry to provide an email address and phone number so that we may contact them.
In each case, MC Group collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with MC Group. MC Group does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities, like purchasing products or making enquiries.
All of the information that is collected on MC Group will be handled in accordance with GDPR legislation.
Information about how you use our website is collected automatically using “cookies”. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.
